The story
Nobody warned me either.
It started quietly, the way it usually does. Sleep going first — not dramatically, just unreliably. Then the energy dips I blamed on being busy. The weight that arrived without an invitation and ignored every trick that used to work. A body I'd known for four decades suddenly speaking a language I didn't.
What made it harder was how invisible it all was. You can't point at brain fog. There's no plaster cast for 3am. And so, like most women, I did what we do: I got on with it, and privately wondered what was wrong with me.
So I went looking for it. Years of reading, testing, discarding what didn't hold up, and slowly assembling what did — the well-established mechanisms behind sleep, stress, weight, energy and digestion in midlife, and the small daily shifts that actually respect how this stage works. The Hormone Reset Code is that rulebook, written the way I wish someone had written it for me.
One thing I'll never do is pretend to be something I'm not. I'm not a doctor, and this isn't medical care — it's education and experience, and your GP is always the right person for the medical side. What I can promise is honesty about what tends to help, why it helps, and what's realistic when you have a life, a family, and precisely no spare hours in the day.
