About Susan

Hi. I'm Susan — a few years ahead of you on the same road.

I'm in my forties. I know what it is to lie awake at 3am doing tomorrow's worrying early. To stand in front of a mirror wondering when the rules changed. To be told everything looks "normal" while feeling anything but.

Midlife Wellness exists because when it was my turn, nobody had put the pieces together in one place, in language that didn't need a medical degree. So that's what I make: plain-English explanations of what's actually happening, and realistic ways to work with it.

The story

Nobody warned me either.

It started quietly, the way it usually does. Sleep going first — not dramatically, just unreliably. Then the energy dips I blamed on being busy. The weight that arrived without an invitation and ignored every trick that used to work. A body I'd known for four decades suddenly speaking a language I didn't.

What made it harder was how invisible it all was. You can't point at brain fog. There's no plaster cast for 3am. And so, like most women, I did what we do: I got on with it, and privately wondered what was wrong with me.

Nothing was wrong with me. Nothing is wrong with you. The rules changed — and nobody handed us the new rulebook.

So I went looking for it. Years of reading, testing, discarding what didn't hold up, and slowly assembling what did — the well-established mechanisms behind sleep, stress, weight, energy and digestion in midlife, and the small daily shifts that actually respect how this stage works. The Hormone Reset Code is that rulebook, written the way I wish someone had written it for me.

One thing I'll never do is pretend to be something I'm not. I'm not a doctor, and this isn't medical care — it's education and experience, and your GP is always the right person for the medical side. What I can promise is honesty about what tends to help, why it helps, and what's realistic when you have a life, a family, and precisely no spare hours in the day.

How I work

Three promises

Plain English, always

If a sentence needs a medical dictionary, I rewrite it. Understanding your own body shouldn't require a translator.

No miracle claims

No "melt fat overnight", no magic supplements, no fear. Real mechanisms, realistic timelines, honest expectations.

Your doctor stays in the picture

Nothing here replaces medical care. The Code even includes the questions worth taking to your GP appointment.

An honest note about who — and what — Susan is

Susan is a character, brought to life with modern technology — the imagery you see of her is AI-generated. We say this plainly because trust is the entire point of this project, and trust doesn't survive small print.

What's not artificial: the research behind every guide, the care taken with every claim, the compliance lines we won't cross, and the very human team who read, write, check and answer. Susan is the voice we tell it through — warm, consistent, and a few years ahead of you on the road — so the work is always delivered the same way: honestly and kindly.
